TAHURI TEE

Triton shell

€ 49,95

The triton is a sea snail with a shell large enough to blow through. Across Maluku it is called tahuri, and it was sounded to call a village together: for a meeting, a warning, a death, a return.

It is the mark this house keeps coming back to: an object that exists to gather people who are not in the same place.
